TRG Talk: Project Management - How to manage Project Stakeholders for Project Success
To help grow the Project Management community we are holding a regular informal meetup every First Thursday at PJ’s Coffee in Sala. These events will discuss about Project Management and provide an opportunity for attendees to discuss specific issues and challenges they have with experienced Projects Managers in Vietnam.
This month we discuss: Stakeholders Management
The successful management of stakeholders should be a key project objective. It includes the processes required to:
- identify the people, groups, or organisations that could impact or be impacted by the project,
- an analysis of stakeholder expectations and their impact on the project, and
- the development of appropriate management strategies to engage stakeholders in project decisions and execution.
Stakeholder management also focuses on continuous communication with the stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations. To be a successful project manager you need to effectively manage stakeholders and this is a great opportunity for you to understand more on what is involved in this area of project management.
