Saturday Coffee Class: Barista Secrets to Espresso
A workshop for a small group of people (maximum of 6) for two hours to provide hands on skills learning about making a good espresso and how to make a good espresso coffee drink.
Topic: Coffee Skills for Fun
Highlights:
A good barista knows that many elements impact the taste and quality of an espresso and the different drinks based on espresso. This workshop explores several of those elements, such as:
- Sight - Know when an espresso coffee is good or not good just by looking at it
- Feel - Know when the coffee beans when ground will make a good espresso or not
- Taste - Know what a good and bad espresso should taste like
- Smell - Know when coffee is fresh or not
Espresso coffee is growing in popularity, but few know how to make it properly or even afford to use the large, professional machines. A bit of knowledge will allow you to explore and understand a good coffee drink, so you can ensure you get quality every time you order.
