On July 13, 2018, TRG International cooperated with AmCham & BBGV to organise the annual Blood Donor Day, this year the event took place at PJ’s Coffee Sala. We want to bring the Blood Donor Day closer to TRG-ers and other donors who are currently living and working in District 2; as well as to raise awareness on the importance of supplying enough blood in case of emergencies.

Tet is the season of happiness, the time when families gather together. But in fact, not everyone can enjoy Tet fully because there are still so many lives that need help. Tet is also a difficult time in calling for blood donation for patients. According to the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, during Lunar New Year, the country needs at least 125,000 units of blood for treatment of diseases. However, this is the time when blood suppliers, workers and university students are on Tet holiday, leading to a significant decrease in blood supply.

TRG Leaders and staffs joined Blood Donation, was organised  at Thien Phuoc Rd, Ward 9, Tan Binh Distric HCMC as a regular activity.

In 2015, in Vietnam there were more than one million units of blood supplied to patients, of which 96% come from unpaid volunteers. This is a significant effort showing how people have been striving to provide an adequate blood supply, as well as showing a positive change in understanding, attitude, behaviour and beliefs of people in voluntary blood donations.

Lacking the facts and accurate information of blood donation had prevented so many people from being an volunteer unpaid donor. If you are still worry about how blood donation activity works, study all about it today to discover donating blood is not as complicated as you imagine.

 Wouldn’t be great to see someone smiling just because you saved his life? Well, in fact there is one way you could all be superheroes, a way you could save someone’s life in just a few minutes without using any superpowers we mentioned just now

On 12th June 2015, TRG’s CEO and staffs joined AmCham's World Blood Donor Day at New World Hotel to share the support and continue acting as an annual donors to help saving people’ lives. At TRG, we believe that it is our responsibility to strongly support AmCham World Blood Donor Day as TRG always want to return something to the society while doing business in Vietnam.
