On September 13^th, TRG International hosted the TRG Talk at our regular place - PJ’s Coffee Sala. The event welcomed two speakers: Rick Yvanovich, Founder and CEO of TRG International, and Brian O’Reilly, MBA, PMP from Industrial Relations and Technology Transfer centre at VGU.

Hey hey hey! It is time for the BBGV Annual Fun Run for Charity and you bet that TRG International will play a part in it again this year.

The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Mooncake Festival, is a national holiday that takes place every year on the 15th day of the 8th month according to the Lunar Calendar. This is one of the most important festivals in Vietnam, and it is celebrated differently in each region but typically, the celebration calls for snacking on mooncakes, carrying or hanging up lanterns, and watching Chinese dragon dances.

On 30th August, TRG was honoured to be one of the 40 companies participating in the RMIT Career Fair 2018.

RMIT Career Fair is an annual event for students to have an overview of the job market. This is a chance for RMIT students and alumni to interact with professionals from various industries. Besides offering employment opportunities, there were also various fun activities happening at the employer’s booths. Some employers were also providing tips and techniques for students to make themselves more employable during the event.

In recent years, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) play a central role in Vietnam’s economic growth, providing abundant job opportunities and boosting exports. However, despite accounting for 98 per cent of the country’s enterprises, 40 per cent of GDP and 50 per cent of employment, the performance of SMEs is still constrained by many factors, both internal and external, such as shortage of qualified human resources, limited access to technology as well as administrative hurdles.

On August 15th, TRG International and Amazon Website Services co-hosted TRG Talk on the topic "Cloud Enablement" at our regular meetup place - PJ's Coffee Sala.

The TRG Talk – Project Management August centralised on the topic "An introduction to Project Risk Management". Hosted by TRG International and IPMA, and lead by none other than the reputable speaker - Mr. Brian O'Reilly (Deputy Director of Industrial Relations and Technology Transfer Centre, VGU), the participants stated in their after event review that the talk was very informative with many great tips in managing management-level risks and project-level risks.

On July 25th, the monthly TRG Talk - Talent Management took place at our usual meeting place, PJ Coffee Sala. This month topic was: “Mutual-Learning Approach for Building Productive Team”.

On the 22^nd of June, a seminar organised by HR Media and TRG International raised a controversial topic: “Safeguarding your organisation’s future with competency-based succession planning”. The main speaker of the event was Mr. Rick Yvanovich - Founder & CEO of TRG International.

On July 5th, TRG held the seminar "TRG Talk - Project Management" with the topic "Agile Project Management and Lean Thinking". The seminar was hosted by Mr. Chris Krupp, Executive Coach & Founder, Semdi Solutions, and Mr. Brian O’Reilly, Deputy Director of Industrial Relations and Technology Transfer Centre, VGU.
