*Ho Chi Minh – July 2014 *– The 4th Am Cham Blood Donor Day (WBDD) on 14 July 2014, received aid from dozens of large organisations in Ho Chi Minh City. As a common yearly activity, this time, [TRG](http://www.trginternational.com)’s CEO and staffs joined in the event at New World Hotel, District 1. With our supports, we wish to accompany the event slogan “give blood for those who give life”.
According to [World Health Organisation](http://www.who.int/en/), currently Vietnam is in need of almost 2 million units of blood each year. At the moment, Amcham estimates that the current blood donation level only meets 45% of demand in Vietnam, and yet there is only 5 months left until the end of the year. This means that there will be a shortage of blood, especially rare blood for year 2014. Therefore, TRG believes it’s our responsibility to strongly support this event as we always wish to return something to the society while doing business here.
Mr. Rick Yvanovich, TRG’s CEO, once said that TRG has already became and will continue acting as an annual donors to help saving people’ lives. We believe that this gift is the least thing that we can do for the society, as each and every individuals are invaluable human beings.
