First impressions hold significant weight in various situations as they greatly influence our personal opinions. This influence extends to the workplace and the development of employees' careers.
For many individuals, beginning a new job can be an emotional roller coaster. The satisfaction of newly hired employee with their role and the company largely depends on the impression they form during the initial days and weeks of their employment.

Impressions can be both positive and negative. Positive impressions often bring about encouragement, hope, faith, confidence, and openness, while negative impressions can lead to discouragement, hopelessness, and detachment in the workplace.
However, it is important to note that first impressions provide insight into employees' expectations and judgements, but these impressions can change over time through reflection and communication.
At TRG International, we wholeheartedly embrace the principles of reflection and Kaizen. We consistently encourage our TRGers to critically evaluate their surroundings and ask themselves thought-provoking questions such as: What areas can be enhanced or changed to foster a stronger team dynamic and improve performance? Are there any barriers that make it challenging for you to voice your thoughts and hinder your ability to excel at work? How can we collectively strive for excellence in specific areas?
Ultimately, this process of introspection and self-awareness allows us to overcome any negative thinking patterns and actively seek innovative solutions and ideas to enhance our overall work environment.
In fact, we place such importance on these skills that we require all new TRGers to complete a specialised "Reflection" course in TRG Academy, empowering them with these valuable tools for success.
Another powerful tool to reshape our impressions is effective communication. At TRG International, we prioritise regular bi-monthly meetings between our interns and the human resources team, providing them with a platform to confidently share their valuable insights and experiences as proud TRGers.
Moreover, we actively encourage all employees to openly engage in discussions with their managers and colleagues, allowing them to express their opinions and concerns about their work. By fostering open communication, we ensure that any challenges our team members may face are swiftly addressed and that everyone is well-informed about the issue at hand.
