Vietnamese Global assessment solutions provider, Profiles International Inc., Chief Science Officer, Dr. Scott Hamilton, will attend and deliver multiple sessions at the 2nd International Talent Assessment and Development Conference (ITADC2014), which will be held from September 11th-12th at the Pullman Saigon Center, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
In his main session, Dr. Scott Hamilton will cover the topic “The Psychologist Looks at Leadership in Business”. This session covers the characteristics and strengths of common leadership styles and how to use these advantages to coach and develop leaders. This topic was selected as a result of a survey of business leaders in Vietnam conducted by Profiles International South East Asia, which identified this as one of the hot topics.
With broad professional experience as a psychotherapist, consultant to business, and developer of assessments used at all levels of organizations, Dr. Hamilton will provide unique insights into the nature and impact of several common leadership styles observed in the corporate world today. In addition to defining and examining leadership styles, he will offer advice as to how best relate to individuals employing each style. He will also discuss multiple behavior traits of each style and the resulting impact on organizational and interpersonal relationships. Dr. Hamilton’s professional experience and perspective will offer attendees a truly unique glimpse into the psychology of leadership and the practical impact of each leadership approach.
The Conference will have 15 more sessions covering HR optimization, sales performance optimization and Leadership including Mindful Leadership and Leadership Charisma by Deiric McCann, the co-author of the Leadership Charisma Book, ranked #125 in Amazon’s global bestseller list and translated into Vietnamese by TRG International and Profiles International SEA.
ABOUT DR. SCOTT HAMILTON
Dr. Hamilton holds a master's degree and a Ph.D. in counseling and clinical psychology with a minor in research. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Test Publishers, of which Profiles is a founding member. He is also a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), the Association for Psychological Science (APS), and the International Test Commission (ITC). Dr. Hamilton is, additionally, an associate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
