TRG sponsored MBA degree for employee

On July 12th, 2015, Mr. Pham Hong Thai, Deputy General Director at TRG International, has successfully attained MBA degree of University of Hawaii, Shidler College of Business. His degree is fully sponsored by TRG International for representing as an example of Kaizen, one of the core values of the company.

Talking about his accomplishment, Mr. Thai shared that “I found this program very helpful and I am reflecting what’ve learned into TRG business every day. I’ve realised one thing that the more I learn, the more I do not know; life-long learning is so important to me now”. 

The program is designed specifically for top executives in Vietnam. It aims to train, guide and prepare for elevating their management skills. This 21-month, executive format program allows participants living in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to maintain full-time management positions while earning their degree. Organised by University of Hawaii, in collaboration with the International University (Ho Chi Minh City) and the Foreign Trade University (Hanoi), the degree demonstrates that participants will have the confidence and skills to compete for top executive positions, not only in Vietnam but anywhere in the world. They have learned from an integrated, modern curriculum that incorporates core business disciplines with cutting-edge business practices.

In 2015, TRG also supports employee-initiated courses such as Consolidated Financial Statement for two employees in Professional Services and Customer Support Department, MSCA 2012 for one employee in Retail Department, ION v11 Technical Training for 2 employee in Customer Service Department. One employee in Profiles department is provided with Talent Management certificate, ERP employee department held a place in Accounting Principles & Practices. The other departments such as Marketing and Customer Support are provided with CCNA and Digital Marketing certificates.

The company has also sponsored other MBA’s / Masters, fully supported IELTS, English course such as presentation, English letter and email writing, general English.
