Vietnamese On 12th June 2015, TRG’s CEO and staffs joined AmCham's World Blood Donor Day at New World Hotel to share the support and continue acting as an annual donors to help saving people’ lives. At TRG, we believe that it is our responsibility to strongly support AmCham World Blood Donor Day as TRG always want to return something to the society while doing business in Vietnam.
According to AmCham, voluntary blood donation kept increasing. However, donated blood only satisfies about 58% of the nationwide need. Therefore, with the slogan “Give freely, give often. Blood donation matters” and the theme “Thank you for saving my life”, AmCham Vietnam aims to call for more volunteers by highlighting stories from people whose lives have been saved through blood donation, as a way of motivating regular blood donors to continue giving blood and people in good health who have never given blood, particularly young people, to begin doing so.
The event attracted more than 860 volunteers from 60 companies in Vietnam. From June 3th-12th, 1,104 blood units were donated, a great achievement to celebrate the 5th anniversary of AmCham World Blood Donor Day.
