"Hello! My name is Sara, and I was part of the Human Resources department at TRG International as a Human Resources Intern.
Applying for the Human Resources Intern position at TRG International was the first step for me to switch my career path from Management to Human Resources, and I wanted to learn as much as I could. Luckily, TRG had just the people for me.
I was paired with my supervisor, Mr. Nhan Tran Danh, who acquired 29 licenses and certificates in Human Resource management, human psychology, languages, counselling, and leadership. Studying my supervisor’s accreditation allowed me to trust TRG as the enabler to succeed at my initial goal of switching career paths.

And during my three-month internship period, I can confidently say that I have experienced the most rapid development in my Human Resources career and professional skillset to date. And I am going to tell you exactly why.
On my first day at TRG, I was presented with the task that enabled me to take the most advantage of my internship experience: the Individual Development Plan (IDP). The IDP is a document that was provided to me by my supervisor. It comprised several tables for interns to fill in detail about plans for their short-term and long-term future.
It did not matter if your goals were too ambitious, too specific, or tied with your role at TRG or not. What mattered was that you thought about those goals and how to take action and accountability to make them happen.
Tasks like these showed me exactly what kind of company TRG International is and their goal in appointing interns to their company. And through my observation, I believe it to be the continuous development of the junior workforce.
This is what TRG calls the value of Kaizen, and on the last day of my internship, I can comfortably say it has become part of my DNA. Observation and inspiration from my supervisor’s continuous learning ventures were not my only motivators to succeed in my internship; the open communication policy at TRG also aided it.
The findings I collected from having meaningful conversations with the head of the Human Resources department, Ms. Kiranjit Grover, will guide me as I navigate my career with less doubt and more bravery. And attending weekly presentations by our Founder and CEO, Mr. Rick Yvanovich, enriched my business acumen and filled my journal with book titles and business concepts I had never heard of before.
My experience at TRG International will be hard to replicate, and the treatment my Human Resources team provided me with will continue to be an igniting motivator for what I can do for future juniors as a Human Resources professional myself."
