Introducing new initiative - TRG CARES
To mark this incredible milestone, we have established a dedicated committee that comprises members across the entire organisation and is tasked with special responsibilities, making the 30-year anniversary not a once-off event but the start of a new era of TRG.
We also make this year the stepping stone for new initiatives, namely TRG CARES, a program that stems from our legacy CSR and sustainability activities.
Over our 30-year journey, our commitment to social responsibilities has transformed into a greater mission: promoting environmental awareness and fostering a company culture where everyone cares about their surroundings. We have come to realise that the traditional CSR framework is no longer suitable for the changing needs and concerns of today.
While social issues like blood donation and fundraising events are still important, today's focus extends even further. We now strive to build a sustainable business where employees think, act, and live sustainably across the environment, society, and governance.
That is where TRG Cares comes in.
TRG Cares represents a shift in focus for our social responsibility efforts. It is an acronym for TRG Community Action and Responsibility for Environmental Sustainability.
This program, developed based on the ESG framework, emphasises three key elements: Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), which work together to achieve our ultimate goal - Sustainability, while also introduces two new elements, Environmental and Governance.
In addition to the milestone anniversary celebration, our 30-year journey will be marked by a series of engaging and interactive activities designed to bring together all members of the TRG family, regardless of how long they have been with the company or where they are located.
These year-long initiatives aim to not only create a sense of unity and connection among TRGers but also provide an opportunity for everyone to reflect on the incredible journey we have embarked on together.
These activities, which range from virtual team-building exercises to nostalgic reminiscing sessions, aim to foster a strong sense of camaraderie and shared experience within the TRG community.
