Ho Chi Minh City, 13 October 2023 - TRG International had the honour of hosting a momentous event for the esteemed company Infor, as it marked the very first visit of their management team to Vietnam. This was a truly remarkable occasion for both parties involved.

With the goal of strengthening partnerships and exploring market potential, the Infor Sunsystems business unit's key personnel, a core strategic team of Infor, received an invitation from TRG International's CEO, Rick Yvanovich, to visit Vietnam.

The visit offers a great chance for the Infor SunSystems BU team to deepen their understanding of the Vietnamese market and explore its potential. Additionally, it allows them to gain insights into the local customers' adoption of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and the factors that influence their decisions.

Exploring market opportunities and unveiling the potential of SaaS

Infor's visit to Vietnam was primarily motivated by the desire to understand the local market and its potential. The Vietnamese market offers a wealth of opportunities, which the Infor SunSystems team can leverage to gain firsthand insights into these prospects.

Rick's invitation to Infor showcased his belief in the market's growth potential and the value that Infor's solutions could bring to Vietnamese businesses.

Another objective of Infor's visit was to explore the adoption of SaaS among Vietnamese customers. Infor sought to understand the factors that have influenced the uptake of SaaS solutions and identify any barriers that may have hindered their wider implementation. This exploration was vital for Infor to tailor their offerings and strategies to meet the specific needs and preferences of Vietnamese customers.

Cloud adoption in Southeast Asia is thriving, with the market showing great activity. However, the current trend suggests that larger organisations are taking the lead in adopting the cloud and implementing more advanced and well-rounded strategies.

It should be noted that the cloud is not limited to big companies with substantial IT budgets. In fact, the cloud, particularly multi-tenant SaaS solutions, offers immense flexibility and scalability on demand. It has the potential to enhance value, drive innovation, and transform businesses of all sizes and industries.

Ms. Sammi Wu, the Director of Sales for Infor Hospitality Solutions in Southeast Asia, emphasises the need for further education on the advantages and possibilities of the cloud in the Southeast Asian market. According to Sammi, the benefits of the cloud go beyond mere cost reduction, highlighting its true value and potential for businesses in the region.

The insights gained from these interactions are invaluable in enhancing Infor SunSystems and tailoring it to better meet the needs of our customers.

Another important event during the Infor visit is the TRG's Ambassador Lunch, where we bring together twelve of the TRG's valued customers for a luncheon and provide an opportunity for them to share their thoughts.

The Infor SunSystems management team along with TRG's CEO and Director of Sales participated in this event. The main aim of the Ambassador Lunch is to strengthen the relationship with our customers and establish a platform for open conversations.

Podcast recording sessions with TRGers

The next activity in the plan during the Infor visit includes engaging sessions for knowledge sharing and podcast recording. The Infor SunSystems team took a tour around TRG International's office in Ho Chi Minh City, attended a town hall presentation with Infor executives, and participated in internal meetings covering sales strategy, the Vietnam market, internal engagement, and marketing activities.

One exciting aspect is the podcast recording with the TRG's marketing team. During these sessions, a TRG host will sit down with each Infor SunSystems Cloud expert and delve into their expertise, providing valuable insights and information.
