Vietnamese "Hi, my name is Van and I was an Operation Intern for 7 months at PJ’s Coffee, an F&B brand under TRG International. For me, the internship at TRG was a fulfilling and meaningful journey with countless experiences and lasting relationships.
The first valuable thing about my internship is my freedom to do my best to contribute to PJ’s growth since I was given the opportunity to try and decide how my internship would turn out to be.
Before starting this internship, I was imagining some stereotypical things an intern would do, like getting coffee or making paper copies, but TRG proved otherwise with its creative, dynamic, and supportive environment for all TRGers.

The types of tasks I received as an Event Catering initially and then Supply Chain Intern were so diverse, requiring me to continuously enhance both hard skills and soft skills to execute these tasks successfully.
My supervisor – Ms. Mai Tran – was always there to give me caring advice and detailed instructions. She always respects my opinions and gives me the freedom to transform my ideas into reality.
Even though my internship was quite challenging, I still found it enjoyable and enriching as it gives me a clear picture of myself, including my strengths and weaknesses, which is really helpful for my future career path.
The second thing that I want to highlight about my internship is the workplace environment at TRG. Honestly, I had never imagined that my internship would be that fun and delightful since whenever I came to the office, my colleagues always gave me big smiles, warm greetings, and great talks, which made me feel welcomed, engaged, and motivated to start a new day.
I was astonished by how we could build close relationships and connections through various team-building activities, such as parties, Secret Santa game, and the Vung Tau trip, or through simple activities, like daily check-ins where I even shared my personal life.

This working atmosphere was also the reason why I extended my internship twice. I love to feel increased happiness and energy whenever I meet my team.
In short, my journey at PJ’s Coffee and TRG International was incredible. I had opportunities to learn more about supply chain management, form a ‘can-do’ mindset as well as visualise my career.
