Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – Our TRGers brought out our best running shoes and had a fun Sunday running, walking, and laughing together in the "Fun Run for Charity" event organised by the British Chamber of Commerce (BritCham, formerly known as BBGV).
On the 15th of November, 2020, several members of TRG International and PJ's Coffee Vietnam participated in BritCham's annual Fun Run for Charity. The event happens annually aims at supporting the needy in Vietnam while also creating excellent bonding opportunities for friends, families, and co-workers.

Since 2000, the event has successfully raised more than 11 billion VND for various charities across Vietnam and attracted 10,000 of participants each year.
Due to the recent health pandemic, BritCham expands the scale of the event in the hope of raising more funds to support the most vulnerable communities in Vietnam that have been hit the hardest by COVID-19.
As a result, BritCham organises two Fun Run in two major cities in Vietnam - one in Ho Chi Minh, which already took place on the 15th, and one will take place on the 29th November in Hanoi.
So far, over 30 partners and sponsors have pledged to participate in the initiative, enabling BritCham to successfully secure 2 billion VND. The organisation plans to allocate the resources to four particular areas: Healthcare, People with disabilities, Education, and Wildlife protection.
It has been a part of TRG International's tradition to join the marathon every year. This is also the fourth year PJ's Coffee Vietnam sponsored the Fun Run.
The event took place at the usual location, the five kilometres around Phu My Hung residential area. The blazing hot sun did not stop everyone's enthusiasm. Though TRGers did not win the fastest positions, we sure had a fantastic Sunday morning "slow-walking" for good causes.
