Internship testimonials - Episode 13: My internship was an exceptional ride

Our HR team recently received a very lovely email from a previous intern, and we thought this great piece of content needed to be shared with everyone.

"Hi, my name is Thu, and I was an Application Support Intern in the Managed Service team at TRG International.

My internship at TRG International was an exceptional ride that I have ever had in my life. TRG has given me their best resources and opportunity to develop my skills, knowledge, and sense of responsibility.

From the first day at TRG, I witnessed how the company inspires us with their vision and presents us with its core values, to which we conform. I was impressed with how TRG helped ease interns like me into the company's daily operation through a series of conscientiously designed Thinkific courses.

During my internship, I took approximately twelve courses, which were all short, concise, informative, and, above all, interactive and easy to follow and practice.

Secondly, I was able to get hands-on experience with different TRG resources, such as the servers, MS Office intranet, etc. Not only did this help me to obtain heaps of knowledge, but it also allowed me to learn more about the professional workplace.

Thirdly, I was given a chance to express myself and meet new friends through various virtual sessions like Knowledge Sharing, Ice Breaking, the collaborative video project with the Managed Service team, and workshops hosted by none other than the CEO and Founder himself - Mr. Rick Yvanovich. Even though I was just an intern, I got to meet him several times and was influenced by his friendliness, dedication, and vision to drive the company forward.

Last but not least, I was thankful for all the instruction and tasks during my internship. These assignments provided me with a better overview of my career and purpose and equipped me with valuable lessons on being a support agent.

From learning and practising a multitude of Infor SunSystems functions, I gained an understanding of financial operations, especially in the hotel industry. I also had the chance to join the video project in which I learned how to read the knowledge base, replicate customers’ issues, and make tutorial videos for future training purposes.

Overall, I cherish my days at TRG, and I hope the best for this awesome organisation in the future.

I want to express my gratitude to Ms. Duong, my supervisor, who has helped me tremendously during my internship. She might be a little strict, but her instructions were thorough, and she was attentive to my improvement. She was also very understanding when I was in a tough situation.

Additionally, I want to send my appreciation to the HR team, Michelle, Julia, Ms. Jade, and especially Mr. Nhan, who always took care of my well-being and gave me helpful advice before and during my time at TRG. I was also thankful for all the support I received from many people at TRG. I hope our paths will cross again in the future."
