HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM (December 16, 2016) – Today, PJ’s Coffee, a famous coffee franchise from New Orleans, officially announced the opening of its second store in Vietnam, located in Nguyen Co Thach street, District 2. The grand opening event features PJ’s full menu with a wide selection of drinks and baked pastries, a ribbon-cutting ceremony and lion dance. 

November 30^th, a breakfast seminar successfully organized by BBGV gathering 20 top influential executives from various industries to discuss about the similarity and difference between Vietnamese leaders and those from other countries. At the seminar, Huy Tran – Talent Management Manager, TRG International held a brief keynote talk about the result of a transcending-border study relating to leadership and management in Vietnam, Norway, Romania and the Philippines. According to the study, there are common perceptions of effective leadership among countries while communication seems to be the area need improvement the most.

November 29^th, the AMCHAM seminar “Digital Banking Disruption” brings about 30 influential executives from the banking industry to a breakfast briefing that encourages networking and discussion amongst those leaders of the relevant business community. This event is a mix of lively presentations and panel discussions which offer insight into digital banking disruption in Vietnam.

Leadership effectiveness can without doubt have a profound effect on organisations. Great People Inside Conference 2016 “The New World of Work” gathered over 20 high-profile speakers and 350 participants in the field of human resources for a 2-day event discussing the changing nature of work. The conference was currently in its 13th year of reputation and among the largest HR conference in Romania.

September 25^th marks the date for staffs of TRG and PJ’s Coffee Vietnam – its newest F&B business joining the BBGV Fun Run to raise money for local charities throughout Vietnam. Organized by the British Business Group Vietnam (BBGV), the Fun Run is an annual event attracted thousands of participants from many multi-national and prestigious companies such as Prudential, CBRE, Decathlon, Freshfields… This year, it is reported that 3000 – 4000 people, both Vietnamese and foreigners, have joined the charitable event.
