Vietnamese Bangkok, July 20th, 2022 - Infor SunSystems Channel Partner Conference for the APAC region took place with the purpose of "Strengthening our strategic partnership". The event shed light on Infor's vision for this venerable financial management solution.
A day packed full of insights and news for Infor's dedicated SunSystems independent business unit (IBU) after almost three years of navigating a highly business-as-unusual environment.
Rick and eight other management members of TRG International participated in the conference. We got updated on the product and news on Infor's MT SaaS readiness from the Infor SunSystems leadership team. The event was also a chance to celebrate the success and achievements of channel partners in the region.
Infor SunSystems IBU was created to ensure no silos across all networks and that every partner is 100% focused on success. The IBU also ensures team synergy to help increase customer satisfaction.
To achieve such goals, in addition to being transparent on all visions, roadmaps, and updates on the product, Infor will provide industry-specific, solution-specific Marketing content as well as support for partners' Sales and Marketing initiatives.
The conference once again emphasised the benefits and definite future of moving towards the cloud of SunSystems. The shift to the cloud is not only a vital move; it is also a proactive response to market and customer demand for a highly secure, agile, and resilient platform for business continuity.
SunSystems, as well as more than a handful of Infor solutions, have been cloud-enabled. Nevertheless, customers can still choose the hybrid or on-premise deployment method based on their current needs.

Another exciting news from the conference is that the SaaS version of SunSystems, SunSystems 7, is expected to be officially released in October of this year.
