Buon Mong area (Dak Phoi commune, Dak Lak province) is one of the remote areas where 98% of the population are ethnic minorities who live below the line and survive only on corn and rice. For them, going to school is such a burden on the family. Many children in this remote and poor area of the central highland have to go the extra mile to continue their studies, dealing with the heavy constraints of long distance, inadequate transport infrastructure and poverty.

Annual charity trip has become a tradition at TRG, and this year, our destination is Dak Lak province. Dak Lak is located in Vietnam’s Central Highlands where the majority of residents are ethnic and they speak an ethnic dialect.

On December 6th, TRG International hosted the TRG Talk: Project Management at our regular place - PJ’s Coffee Sala. The Talk began with Mr. Rick Yvanovich, Founder and CEO of TRG International, introduced this month topic "Improving personal efficiency" and our speaker of the day - Brian O’Reilly, MBA, PMP from Industrial Relations and Technology Transfer centre at VGU. 

“Lead The Change” is an annual competition for young people who have a passion for start-up. This year, the competition was co-organised by UEH Connected community, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics, the U.S. Consulate Ho Chi Minh City, Accelerator Startup Campus, Co-working Space Campus K, and Saigon Innovation Hub.

On November 21st, TRG International and Amazon Website Services co-hosted TRG Talk on the topic "Cloud Enablement" at our regular meetup place - PJ's Coffee Sala. The event welcomed two speakers: Mr Thanh Nguyen - Cloud Services Director from TRG International, and Mr Vu Luu - Country Territory Manager from Amazon Web Services Vietnam.

November 22 is an important date for top-level leaders and industry experts from around the world to gather for a one-day-only event - the Digital Leadership Conference 2018 – to network and to meet up with reputable speakers who will be sharing their success stories in leading today’s digital and VUCA world.

Glenn joined our Marketing team the same day with our other intern, James Garbutt, for an internship that lasted eight months. Glenn and James are "broworkers" - they both studied Commerce Management at Dania Academy (Denmark).
