Flexibility
Infor SunSystems Cloud can map to different organisational processes, functional requirements, and deployment needs. It allows you to implement flexible, stable accounting with analytics and reporting capabilities that comply with changing regulatory requirements.
No financial management system can offer you a hundred per cent solution, not unless you are prepared to pay for a comprehensive enterprise resource planning system, which will likely be costly and time-consuming.
With Infor SunSystems Cloud at the heart of the business, providing industry-specific financial management with powerful and flexible integration capabilities, you can build a best-of-breed solution at an affordable cost.
Previous versions of SunSystems can already be deployed in the cloud, on-premise, or in a hybrid environment, depending on your needs. With this flexibility, time and cost are saved during implementation.

Accessibility
Being in the multi-tenant cloud means users can access SunSystems through any common browser, such as Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc. Not just this cloud version but all SunSystems releases provide multi-currency, multilingual support, and global regulatory compliance.
You can run a single system simultaneously in multiple languages or have different users access the system in the language of their choice. Additionally, data can be entered and stored in any required language. All within the same installation.
With Infor SunSystems Cloud, you will be able to define a limited number of currencies and hold transactions in up to four parallel currencies. For instance, you can post an invoice in US dollars and have the equivalent values in British pounds, Kenyan shillings, and Euros in that entry.

Global analysis
The SunSystems Cloud global analysis facility allows you to analyse different types of data in different ways to meet your unique inquiry and reporting requirements. This facility is used globally across SunSystems modules.
Global analysis is basically grouping or categorising information for purposes of reporting or inquiry. This information includes static data like ledger accounts, assets, etc.

You can also analyse the different types of transactions, for example, ledger transactions, sales and purchase invoices, and sales and purchase orders. There are a variety of uses for analysis capabilities within the financials and order fulfilment modules.
For example, you may need to allocate all expense transactions for the ledger to a cost centre. This enables you to produce monthly expense reports by cost centre, and sales transactions could be analysed by product type to provide a detailed product sales analysis.
Without analysis, we would have to define individual ledger accounts to capture different postings, resulting in a long list of charts of accounts. For instance, to post a salary journal for a particular department. Without the analysis feature, you will have to define the salary account for each department within the organisation. With analysis dimensions, you will only need one account call for salaries, then analyse with different department analysis codes.
Easy integration
Powered by Infor OS, the platform provides a range of integration tools to suit all sizes and types of organisations. Infor adopts an Intelligent Network (ION), which allows you to integrate both Infor products and third-party systems into a financial system.
With this, you can easily integrate processes and systems with other business suites, such as HR payroll, bank systems, and much more.
Multilevel security
Multi-level security allows you to enforce data security and restrictions at different levels. You can group your users and authorise access to specific or all functions. Within the system, you can further restrict access to certain records, whether they are account codes or entries, and so on, if necessary.
Certain user groups may only need to have read-only capabilities for certain records. This gives you better control over what data or information users can access, retrieve, create, and maintain.
